PIRISINO GAINS ALL-REGION HONORS

QUINCY, IL --Senior outside hitter Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) of the Shepherd College volleyball team was named to the Daktronics All-America 2002 All-Great Lakes Region Team.
Pirisino, a second team selection, also gained WVIAC First Team All-Conference and WVIAC All-Tournament honors this year. She led the Rams to a 29-10 overall mark with a team-best .381 hitting percentage and also topped the team with a 3.66 digs/game average. Pirisino added 1.17 blocks per game, 114 assists, and 64 aces.
