Nicky Brown Sr. - IF 6-0 200 Falling Waters, WV/Hedgesville HS/Potomac State 2006: Returning starter at second base for the Rams. 2005: Started in all 39 games for the Rams. Earned Second Team All-WVIAC honors as he batted .377 with 55 hits in 146 at bats. Scored 28 runs and drove in 23. His four home runs were tied for second on the team. Added eight doubles and a triple. Tied for third on the team in walks (12) and hit-by-pitch (3). Was 3-for-4 in stolen bases. Prior to Shepherd: A 2001 graduate of Hedgesville High School where he played baseball for Ben Merica. Lettered in both baseball and basketball at Hedgesville. Transfer from Potomac State. Was a two-year starter at shortstop for the Catamounts. Personal: Born 1-16-83. The son of Donald and Ellen Brown. His sister, Veronica, is a 2002 Shepherd graduate who played softball for the Rams for two seasons. Majoring in physical education |
