SHEPHERD EDGES FRANKLIN & MARSHALL, 5-4

LANCASTER, PA -- The Shepherd men's tennis team won their match with Franklin & Marshall College on Wednesday in dramatic fashion, snatching a 5-4 victory.

With each team having won four matches apiece, Shepherd's Scott Hasenei found himself in a hole at number four singles against F&M's Ben Hart. Hasenei was able to come back, fighting off four match points from 5-6 down to take the set in a tiebreaker. Hasenei won the breaker by a score of 7-5. He quickly swept through the third and final set by a score of 6-1 to clinch the victory for the Rams.

The Rams are now 4-9 overall. Also, Shepherd senior David Seifarth claimed his 100th win as a Ram.
