SHEPHERD, WHEELING JESUIT BATTLE TO 0-0 TIE

WHEELING, W.Va. -- Shepherd University and Wheeling Jesuit battled to a 0-0 tie in WVIAC men's soccer action at Wheeling Jesuit on Wednesday.

Shepherd had a 5-to-2 shot advantage and also topped the Cardinals in corner kicks (4-to-2).

Freshman goalkepper Baboucarr Njie (Banjul, The Gambia/Marina International School) recorded his first career shuout with one save for the Rams, while Wheeling Jesuit keeper Gary Boylan had three saves in his shutout effort.

Shepherd moves to 3-2-2, 0-1-1 in WVIAC play, while Wheeling Jesuit goes to 2-2-1, 0-0-1.

The Rams return to action on September 23 when they travel to Wilmington (DE) for a 4:00 p.m. match.
