WASHINGTON, Pa --The Shepherd College men's soccer team completed a record-setting season after falling to Wheeling Jesuit, 3-1, in semifinal action of the WVIAC Men's Soccer Tournament at Washington & Jefferson College.
Jamie Ritchie (Liberty/Remington, VA) scored Shepherd's lone goal on an assist from Ian Newman (Kingston, Jamaica) in the first half. Ritchie's tally increased his season total to 19 goals, a new Ram individual single-season mark.

Shepherd finishes the year with a 12-9 mark. The Rams set several teams records under head coach Joseph Okoh this season including most wins (12) and most goals (52).
Wheeling Jesuit advances to the final round of the tournament on Saturday to face the winner of today's West Virginia Wesleyan-Charleston contest.
