CHARLESTON EDGES SHEPHERD SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. -- Justin Cooper scored on a penalty kick and University of Charleston later added an own goal to gain a 2-0 win over Shepherd College in men's soccer action at Charleston on Saturday. Sophomore Robert Pence (Woodbridge, VA/Woodbridge HS) recorded four saves in goal for the Rams. David Latham had four saves for the Golden Eagles. Shepherd falls to 8-8-2, 1-4-1 in conference play. The Rams return to action next Saturday when they travel to Ohio Valley College for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
