RITCHIE NAMED WVIAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Junior forward Jamie Ritchie (Remington, VA/Liberty HS) of the Shepherd University men's soccer team was named WVIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for his standout play for the Rams last week. Ritchie scored two goals and added an assist as the Rams recorded 2-0-1 to start the season. He scored SU's only goal in a 1-1 tie against Columbia Union. Ritchie also paced the Rams to wins at regional foes Presbyterian and Mars Hill with a goal and an assist during the weekend road trip. |
