SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Freshman forward Jamie Ritchie (Remington, VA/Liberty) scored a pair of goals to help lead Shepherd College to a 6-1 victory over Ohio Valley College in men's soccer action at Ram Stadium on Saturday.
Shepherd also got goals from Chad Guthrie (Centreville, VA/Centreville), Mike Watson (Springfield, VA/ West Springfield), Pedro Prudencio (Springfield, VA/ Robert E. Lee), and Ian Newman (Kingston, Jamaica).
Freshman Kevin Cole (Kearneysville, WV/Jefferson) recorded 10 saves in goal for the Rams, while Curtis Adkins had seven saves for the Fighting Scots.
Shepherd improves to 4-1, 1-1 in WVIAC play.
The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host Bridgewater College at Ram Stadium at 4:00 p.m.
