RITCHIE'S GOAL LIFTS SHEPHERD PAST MARYMOUNT ARLINGTON, Va. -- Jamie Richie (Remington, VA/ Liberty HS) scored on a feed from Adam Sperry (Kearneysville, WV/Jefferson HS) at the 88:45 mark to lift Shepherd College to a 1-0 win over Marymount University in men's soccer action at Marymount on Thursday afternoon. Shepherd held a 13-to-11 shot advantage and a 6-to-3 edge in corner kicks. Ram goalkeeper Robert Pence (Woodbridge, VA/Woodbridge HS) made five saves in a shutout effort. Marymount's Brian Craddock also recorded five saves. Shepherd evens its record to 6-6-2, while Marymount falls to 3-8-1.
