LINCOLN MEMORIAL EDGES SHEPHERD MEN'S SOCCER, 1-0 SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Diogo Silvy scored on an assist from Pedro Canineu at the 48:00 mark to lift 19th-ranked Lincoln Memorial to a 1-0 win over Shepherd University in men's soccer action at Shepherd on Friday afternoon. Sophomore goalkeeper Baboucarr Njie (Banjul, The Gambia/Marina International School) had eight saves for the Rams, while Brent Cole had three stops for the Railsplitters. Shepherd falls to 3-3-1, while Lincoln Memorial improves to 5-0-1. The Rams return to action on Sunday when they host Catawba for a 2:00 p.m. contest. |
