SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. --Pedro Prudencio (Robert E. Lee/Springfield, VA) scored three goals to lead Shepherd College to a 5-0 win over Columbia Union in men's soccer action at Ram Stadium on Monday afternoon.
The Rams also got single goals from Josh Mancebo (Wootton/ North Potomac, MD) and Jamie Ritchie (Liberty/Remington, VA). Dan Merold (Oakton/Oak Hill, VA) added a pair of assists, while Eric Brown (Jefferson/Harpers Ferry, WV), Dan Carter (Catonsville/Baltimore, MD), and Chad Guthrie (Centreville, VA/Centreville) each added assists.
Shepherd goalie Pat Quinn (Good Counsel/Germantown, MD) recorded six saves and posted his second straight shutout, while Jared Bryan had nine saves for Columbia Union.
Shepherd improves to 6-2, while Columbia Union falls to 1-8. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Kutztown University in a 1:00 p.m. contest at Ram Stadium.
