CATAWBA EDGES SHEPHERD MEN, 1-0 SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Nathan Brown's unassisted goal at the 15:00 minute mark lifted Catawba College to a 1-0 win over Shepherd University in men's soccer action at Shepherd on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore netminder Baboucarr Njie (Banjul, The Gambia/Marina International School) had six saves for the Rams. Will McElheny had three saves for Catawba. The loss drops Shepherd to 3-4-1 on the season, while Catawba improves to 6-2-0. The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host Pitt Johnstown for a 4 p.m. contest. |
