BRIDGEWATER HANDS SHEPHERD ITS FIRST LOSS BRIDGEWATER, Va. --Matt Brock scored two goals and assisted on another to lead Bridgewater College to a 4-1 win over Shepherd College in men's soccer action at Bridgewater. Sophomore forward Jamie Ritchie (Remington, VA/Liberty HS) scored Shepherd's only goal on an unassisted tally early in the first half. Jonathan Williamson and In Meang also recorded goals for the Eagles. Sophomore Robert Pence (Woodbridge, VA)/Woodbridge HS) recorded two saves in goal for the Rams, while Bridgewater goalkeeper Jon Boller registered four saves. Shepherd falls to 2-1-1, while Bridgewater improves to 4-1-0. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Alderson-Broaddus in a 1:00 p.m. conference matchup.
