SHEPHERD DOWNS A-B, 3-1 SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University downed Alderson-Broaddus, 3-1, in WVIAC men's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday. Senior forward Jamie Ritchie (Remington, VA/Liberty HS) scored a goal and assisted on another to lead the Rams. Senior forward Donald Fon (Silver Spring, MD/Montgomery Blair HS) netted a goal and both teams scored on own goals. Senior netminder Pat Quinn (Germantown, MD/Good Counsel HS) had eight saves for the Rams. David Harvey also recorded eight saves for the Battlers. Shepherd improves to 14-2-1, 4-2-0 in conference action, while Alderson-Broaddus falls to 8-8-0, 3-3-0. The Rams return to action next Saturday when they travel to Charleston for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
