 A-B HOLDS OFF SHEPHERD SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. -- Hans Schubert scored on an assist from John Whitaker at the 47:47 mark to lift Alderson-Broaddus to a 1-0 win over Shepherd College in men's soccer action at Ram Stadium on Tuesday. Schubert scored the game's only goal on a header off a corner kick. Sophomore Robert Pence (Woodbridge, VA/Woodbridge HS) recorded five saves in goal for the Rams. Richard Greene had three saves for Alderson-Broaddus. Shepherd falls to 5-6-2, 0-2-1. The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Marymount for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
