SHEPHERD REACHES .500 MARK WITH WIN OVER WEST LIBERTY
WEST LIBERTY, WV -- Shepherd College had four players score in double figures en route to a 73-62 win over West Liberty at West Liberty in WVIAC men's basketball action on Monday night.
Mark Jennings (Glen Burnie, MD/North County HS/ Hagerstown CC) led the Rams with a game-high 17 points. Chad Myers (Vinton, VA/Hargrave Military Academy) came off the bench to pour in 14 points on a 5-of-6 six shooting performance, including a 3-for-3 effort from three-point range. Brady Catlett (Hedgesville, WV/Hedgesville HS/New Hampshire) posted a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. Danley Shank (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg HS) added 10 points and six boards, while Esosa Imoisili (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial HS/Howard CC) contributed eight points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots.
Seth Hoyng scored 13 points to lead the Hilltoppers. Heath Allen added 10 points, while Matt Farus hauled down a team-high nine rebounds.
Shepherd improves to 5-5 overall, 2-1 in conference play, while West Liberty falls to 1-9, 0-2. The Rams will be back in action on Thursday night when Salem International comes calling to the Butcher Athletic Center for an 8:00 p.m. contest.
