RAMS FALL TO WHEELING JESUIT

WHEELING, WV --Wheeling Jesuit University handed Shepherd College an 89-83 loss in WVIAC men's basketball action at Wheeling on Saturday despite a game and career-high 36 points from Shepherd's Danley Shank (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg HS).

Shank drained 11-of-17 shots from the floor, including a 3-for-4 performance from three-point range. He also hit on 11-of-13 shots from the charity stripe. Shank also grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds. His 36 points are the most by a Ram under head coach Ken Tyler.

Terrance Bradley scored 27 points to lead the Cardinals. Ricky Yahn added 15, Chris Hootman had 14, and Jose Gonzalez added 10. Hootman also hauled down a team-high nine rebounds.

Mark Jennings (Glen Burnie, MD/North County HS/ Hagerstown CC) added 19 points and nine rebounds for the Rams. Brady Catlett (Hedgesville, WV/Hedgesville HS/New Hampshire) contributed 12 points and seven rebounds.

Shepherd falls to 4-5 overall, 1-1 in conference play, while Wheeling Jesuit improves to 8-1, 2-0. The Rams return to action on Monday when they travel to face West Liberty for a 7:30 p.m. contest.
