BALANCED ATTACK LEADS SHEPHERD PAST TECH MONTGOMERY, WV --Mark Jennings (Glen Burnie, MD/North County HS/Hagerstown CC) scored 22 points to lead Shepherd College to a 98-85 win over WVU-Tech in WVIAC men's basketball action at Tech on Thursday. Esosa Imoisili (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial/Howard CC) added 19 points and Chad Myers (Vinton, VA/Hargrave Military Academy) came off the bench to pour in 14. Danley Shank (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg HS) had 11 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds, while Brady Catlett (Hedgesville, WV/ Hedgesville HS/New Hampshire) contributed 10 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Ross Mitchell (Yorktown, VA/York HS) dished out a game-high six assists to go along with eight points. Rodney Mayes recorded game-highs of 28 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Tech attack. Philip Godfrey added 20 points and Deon Green had 16. Shepherd improves to 7-7 overall, 4-3 in conference play, while the Golden Bears fall to 4-9, 0-5. |
