CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Wykeen Kelly scored a game-high 22 points and Chucky Fine added 18 to lift Salem International to an 87-60 win over Shepherd College in quarterfinal action of the WVIAC Men's Basketball Tournament at the Charleston Civic Center on Thursday night.
Kelly connected on 7-of-12 shots from the floor and was 4-of-7 from three-point range. Jason Dunham added 12 points and David Hamilton had 10 and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.
Mark Jennings (North County (Hagerstown CC)/Glen Burnie, MD) had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead the Rams. Keith Fanjoy (Hammond (Howard CC)/Columbia, MD) added 14 points and seven rebounds, while Keith Davis (Berkeley Springs (Mercersburg Academy)/Berkeley Springs, WV) netted 11 points.
Shepherd completes its season with a 12-17 mark, while Salem International improves to 24-4 and will face Charleston in the semifinals on Friday.
