SHEPHERD SINKS SHIPPENSBURG

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Dorian Sims (Reading Central Catholic/Reading, PA) scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Rams to a 78-72 win over Shippensburg University in men's basketball action at the Butcher Athletic Center on Tuesday night.

Mark Jennings (North County (HCC)/Glen Burnie, MD) added 19 points on an 8-of-10 shooting effort, while Keith Fanjoy (Hammond (Howard CC)/Columbia, MD) had 14 points and hauled down a team-high eight rebounds. Keith Davis (Berkeley Springs (Mercersburg Academy)/Berkeley Springs, WV) was also in double figures with 12 points.

Shippensburg was led by Ron Banks with 14 points and David Levetter with 13.

Shepherd improves to 2-1, while Shippensburg drops to 1-2. The Rams return to action on December 3 when they travel to Bloomsburg for a 7:30 p.m. contest.
