SLANINKA TO RETURN FOR RAMS

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University head men's basketball coach Ken Tyler announced that 7-4 senior center Matt Slaninka (Olney, MD/ DeMatha HS) has been granted a medical hardship waiver by the NCAA, which will allow him to compete during the upcoming season.

"Matt's injury-filled career certainly made him deserving of this waiver, and we are hopeful that he will get to play a full and healthy final season," stated Tyler.
