SHEPHERD DOWNS FALCONS

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV -- Mark Jennings (Glen Burnie, MD/North County HS/Hagerstown CC) scored a game-high 29 points to lead Shepherd College to a 73-61 win over Fairmont State in WVIAC men's basketball action on Saturday.

Jennings scored 21 points in the first half to help the Rams to a 31-29 advantage at the intermission. He also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

Danley Shank (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg HS) added 15 points, while Esosa Imoisili (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial HS/Howard CC) contributed 12 points, six rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Ricky Johnson scored 20 points and grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds to lead the Falcons. Johnathan Denham added 11 points, while DeAndre Walker had 10.

Shepherd improves to 6-5 overall, 3-2 in conference play, while Fairmont State falls to 9-3, 2-2. The Rams will be back in action on Monday night when they travel to Alderson-Broaddus for a 7:30 p.m. conference matchup.
