SHEPHERD FALLS TO BLOOMSBURG IN SEASON OPENER SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Brady Catlett (Hedgesville, WV Hedgesville HS/New Hampshire) scored a game-high 20 points, but Bloomsburg ralllied for a 75-69 win over Shepherd College in men's basketball action at the Butcher Athletic Center on Saturday. Catlett connected on 7-of-15 shots, including 6-of-11 from three-point range. Senior forward Mark Jennings (Glen Burnie, MD/North County HS/Hagerstown CC) added 12 points, while redshirt freshman guard Ross Mitchell (Yorktown, VA/York HS) added 11 points and four assists. Seth Scott scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Bloomsburg. Shepherd falls to 0-1, while Bloomsburg improves to 1-0. |
