SHEPHERD FALLS TO A-B
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Garland Ragler scored a game-high 30 points to lead Alderson-Broaddus to a 95-75 win over Shepherd College in WVIAC men's basketball action on Thursday night at the Butcher Athletic Center.
Ragler also hauled down a game-high nine rebounds, while Stephen Dye added 26 points for the Battlers (20-6, 14-3). Dye connected on 7-of-9 shots from three-point range. John Tucker was also in double figures with 10 points. Shepherd (10-16, 7-10) was led by Mark Jennings (North County (Hagerstown CC)/Glen Burnie, MD) with 21 points on a 9-of-14 shooting effort. Keith Fanjoy (Hammond (Howard CC)/Columbia, MD) poured in 18 points, while Kevin Newsome (Archbishop Carroll/Washington, DC) added 11 points, seven assists, and a team-high six rebounds. The Rams returns to action on Saturday when they travel to West Virginia Wesleyan for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
