2006: Expected to start at first base. Will also see action on the mound as a starter.

2005: Appeared in 28 games with 25 starts. Batted .307 with 27 hits in 88 at-bats. Scored 13 runs and drove in 16 more. Added a double and a pair of home runs. Posted a 1-3 mark on the mound in six starts for the Rams. Fanned 12 in 23.2 innings with a 6.08 ERA.

2004: Appeared in 16 games with 12 starts. Batted .222 with 10 hits in 45 at-bats. Added eight runs scored and seven RBIs. Belted a pair of home runs and added a double. First career round-tripper came in dramatic fashion as he smashed a walk-off homer to lift the Rams to a 7-6 win over Pitt-Johnstown. Posted a 3-2 mark on the mound with a 5.40 ERA. Fanned 17 in 30 innings. Had a masterful performance in first round game of WVIAC Tournament as he scattered four hits over seven innings in Shepherd's 10-0 win over tournament favorite West Virginia State.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2003 graduate of Jefferson High School where he played baseball for John Lowery. Two-year letterwinner in baseball, football, and wrestling. First Team All-State selection at first base as a senior. Batted .428 with 13 doubles and 40 RBI. Posted a 2-0 mark on the mound with five saves.

Personal: Born 2-9-85. The son of Steve and Donna Kozak. Majoring in business administration.
