SHEPHERD FOOTBALL RANKED FIRST IN NORTHEAST REGION INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Shepherd University is the top ranked team in the initial Northeast Region football rankings released Monday by the NCAA Division II Football Committee. The 5-0 Rams carry 23-game regular season and 18-game WVIAC win streaks into Saturday's game at Charleston (4-3). Glenville State (3-3) is the other WVIAC squad in the regional rankings.
