 PETERS EARNS WVIAC HONORS PRINCETON, WV -- Junior free safety Dan Peters (Cresson, PA/Penn Cambria HS) of the Shepherd University football team was named WVIAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week by the West Virginia Conference this week. Peters recorded four interceptions in Shepherd's 34-7 victory against West Liberty to raise his season total to a league record 12. The national leader in interceptions also added a pair of tackles as the Ram defense limited West Liberty to 179 yards of total offense. |
