 GALLAGHER GAINS WVIAC HONORS PRINCETON, WV -- Senior defensive end Dan Gallagher (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin HS) of the Shepherd University football team was named WVIAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week by the West Virginia Conference this week. Gallagher played a key role in Shepherd's 51-0 win over West Virginia Wesleyan. He led the Rams with a game-high seven tackles, including six solos and two tackles for loss. Shepherd held Wesleyan to a mere 122 yards of total offense. The Bobcats, who entered the game fifth nationally in passing offense, were limited to 64 yards through the air. |
