 WALLACE NAMED WVIAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK PRINCETON, WV --Sophomore running back Dervon Wallace (Lusby, MD/Calvert HS) of the Shepherd University football team was named WVIAC Offensive Player of the Week for his outstanding play against University of Charleston last Saturday. Wallace rushed 26 times for a career-high 179 yards and three touchdowns in Shepherd's 27-0 win over Charleston. Wallace scored on rushes of 34, 8, and 25 yards as Shepherd won its 14th consecutive contest. |
