 WALLACE NAMED WVIAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK PRINCETON, WV --Junior running back Dervon Wallace (Lusby, MD/Calvert HS) of the Shepherd University football team was named WVIAC Offensive Player of the Week for his outstanding play against C.W. Post last Saturday. Wallace led the 14th-ranked Rams to a 24-0 win over 17th-ranked C.W. Post by rushing for 196 yards on 27 carries and three touchdowns. He scored on rushes of 1, 36, and 21 yards. Wallace leads the WVIAC in rushing at 143.0 yards per game. He also is tied for the league lead with five scores on the ground. |
