WRIGHT, CORUM GAIN CONFERENCE HONORS PRINCETON, W.Va. -- Senior running back Bryan Wright (Augusta, WV/Hampshire/WVU) and sophomore linebacker Louis Corum (Manassas, VA/Westfield) of the Shepherd University football team gained weekly honors from the West Virginia Conference office today. Wright earned Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Corum grabbed Defensive Player of the Week accolades. Wright rushed 10 times for 113 yards with touchdown runs of 64 and 24 yards to help Shepherd down Millersville, 28-7. Corum recorded 11 tackles with nine solo stops against the Marauders. He also added two tackles-for-loss as Shepherd limited Millersville to only 80 rushing yards and 236 yards of total offense. |
