CATER NAMED TO NCAA DIVISION II FOOTBALL COMMITTEE

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University head football coach Monte Cater was recently selected as a member of the NCAA Division II Football Committee. One of eight members on the national committee, Cater will serve as co-chair of the Northeast Regional Committee.

Cater will be co-chair of a six-person committee that will responsible for the evaluation of the regional teams throughout the season, the evaluation of potential regional sites, and the recommendation of officials and teams for the championship.
