(SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV) -- Greg Vaughn rushed 19 times for 133 yards and two touchdowns to lead East Stroudsburg to a 35-7 win over Shepherd College in football action at Ram Stadium on Saturday.

The Warriors took a 7-0 lead with 9:32 left in the first quarter when quarterback Jimmy Terwilliger scored on a one-yard plunge.

East Stroudsburg extended its lead to 14-0 when Vaughn scored on an 11-yard run with 13:50 led in the half.

Shepherd cut the lead to 14-7 when junior running back Alex Herbert (Monrovia, MD/Urbana HS) scored on a a two-yard rush.

The Warriors took advantage of a Shepherd turnover when Terwilliger connected with tight end Matt Triolo on a 13-yard scoring play with 13:38 left in the third quarter to gain a 21-7 lead.

Anthony Carfagno scored on a one-yard run with 5:49 left in the third quarter to extend the lead to 28-7.

East Stroudsburg got its final tally when Vaughn scored on a one-yard dive with 11:48 left in the game.

Terwilliger completed 17-of-30 passes for 225 yards. His top receiver was Tim Strenfel with four catches for 94 yards.

Redshirt freshman quarterback Dan Chlebowski (Greencastle, PA/Greencastle-Antrim HS) completed 9-of-19 passes for 73 yards in his first career start.

The Ram receiving corps was led by junior wide receiver Jesse Correll (Port Republic, MD/Calvert HS) with three receptions for 21 yards and sophomore wide receiver John Dominguez (Woodbridge, VA/Potomac HS) with three catches for 18 yards.

Herbert led the Ram rushers with 93 yards on 20 carries.

Ryan Vermillion had a team -high 10 tackles to lead the East Stroudsburg defense, while Demar Atwood (Frederick, MD/Thomas Johnson HS) posted a game-high 13 tackles for the Rams.

Shepherd falls to 0-3, while East Stroudsburg, ranked tied for 24th in the latest AFCA Division II Poll, improves to 3-0.

The Rams are idle until October 4 when they travel to Fairmont State for a 1:00 p.m. conference matchup.
