2005: Expected to be a key reliever for the Rams this season.

2004: Appeared in 12 games for the Rams. Posted a 1-0 mark with a 4.91 ERA. Recorded eight strikeouts in 18 1/3 innings. Gained first career win in an 8-6 triumph over West Liberty.

2003: Redshirted.

Prior to Shepherd: A 2002 graduate of Woodbridge Senior High School, where he played baseball for Frank Chimento. Two-year letterwinner in baseball and golf. Earned Baseball Factory All-American and Second Team All-District honors as a senior. Also tabbed as Team MVP.

Personal: Born 7-23-84. The son of Tony and Cheryl Coder. Majoring in business management.
