SHEPHERD MEN PLACE 10th at WVIAC MEET SISSONVILLE, WV -- The Shepherd College men's cross country team placed 10th at the 2003 WVIAC Championships at Camp Virgil Tate. The Shepherd women competed with an incomplete team. The Ram men were paced by Danny Channell, who placed in 34th place with a time of 32:07.02. He was followed by Daniel Rodgers (40th, 33:24.80), Chuck Moore (55th, 36:56.70), John Sine (60th, 37:38.30), and Buddy Wilson (66th, 42:47.40). The Shepherd women were led by Megan Dods, who finished 42nd with a time of 24:34.70. She was followed by Kelly Hunsecker (43rd, 24:37.30), Rachel Brown (54th, 26:03.40), and Marsha Soergel (55th, 26:14.50). West Virginia Wesleyan took the women's crown, while Wheeling Jesuit captured the men's title. |
