SHEPHERD WOMEN PLACE 15TH AT LOCK HAVEN LOCK HAVEN, PA -- The Shepherd College women's cross country team placed 15th at the 2003 Lock Haven Invitational Meet. The men's team competed with an incomplete team. Lindsay Robinson led the Shepherd women with a time of 28:38.27 for 125th place. She was followed by Meghan Dods (130th, 29:10.56), Marsha Soergel (138th, 30:06.86), Rachel Brown (30:21.14), and Kelly Hunsecker (141st, 30:28.56). Leading the Ram men's squad was Danny Channell with a time of 28:54.18 for 134th place. He was followed by Daniel Rodgers (140th, 29:03.30), Chuck Moore (186th, 33:19.64), and John Sine (191st, 35:01.80). West Virginia University took the women's team crown in the 6K race, while the West Virginia Track Club earned the men's title in the 8K competition. |
