SHEPHERD MEN PLACE 17TH AT GETTYSBURG GETTYSBURG, PA -- The Shepherd College men's cross country team placed 17th at the 2003 Gettysburg College Cross Country Invitational. The women's team competed with an incomplete team. Leading the Ram men's squad was Daniel Rodgers with a time of 28:20.37 for 53rd place. He was followed by Danny Channell (97th, 29:19.41), Chuck Moore (157th, 32:18.47), John Sine (181st, 34:43.69), and Buddy Wilson (197th, 39:34.80). Meghan Dods finished in 140th place with a time of 28:56.65. She was followed by Rachel Brown (169th, 30:51.78) and Marsha Soergel (177th, 31:26.10). Loyola College took the women's team crown in the 6K race, while Otterbein College earned the men's title in the 8K competition. |
