RISER TO CHAIR NCAA II BASEBALL COMMITTEE

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Shepherd University head baseball coach Wayne Riser has been selected as chair of the NCAA II Baseball Committee.

Riser, who has served as chair of the North Atlantic Regional Committee for the past two years, will now head the national committee. The purpose of the committee is to develop policies and procedures governing the administration and conduct of the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

"Wayne has demonstrated his leadership abilities over the last two years on the committee," said Troy Arthur, NCAA Associate Director of Championships. "His successful coaching career along with his administrative skills, make Wayne a tremendous choice to lead the Division II Baseball Committee."
