RISER NAMED TO NCAA DIVISION II BASEBALL COMMITTEE

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University head baseball coach Wayne Riser was recently selected as a member of the NCAA Division II Baseball Committee. One of eight members on the national committee, Riser will serve as chair of the North Atlantic Regional Committee.

Riser will be in charge of a four-person committee that will responsible for the evaluation of the regional teams throughout the season, the evaluation of potential regional sites, and the recommendation of umpires and teams for the championship.
