COOK NAMED WVIAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

PRINCETON, WV -- Senior outfielder Joe Cook (Leesburg, VA/Loudoun County HS) of the Shepherd University baseball team was recently selected as WVIAC Player of the Week.

Cook batted .813 with 13 hits in 16 at-bats during a 4-0 week for the Rams. He added eight runs scored and seven runs batted in. Eight of Cook's hits (7 2B, 1 HR) went for extra bases.
